I was jolted by the death of Robin Williams.
A depressed comedian.
A sad entertainer.
A creative person uninspired to keep on living.
Desperate.
Tired.
Hopeless.
Depression can cause substance abuse and substance abuse can cause depression.
Depression and substance abuse together, can make people do impulsive things to attempt to remove pain.
Although I won't claim to know exactly how this feels,
I get it.
I feel for him and for his family.
