I've Been On A Quest To Quit Hazelnut Coffee Creamer.

Just trying to live healthier.
So to distract myself (which is one of the ways to help kick an addiction) I decided to drive to a coffee shop after taking the girls to school.
The coffee shop, however, was rather crowded.
So while waiting for the crowd to peter out, I decided to go to not one,  but two grocery stores.
(Still trying to distract myself, now with errands)
After successfully resisting all urges to purchase  contraband creamer,  I went home.
Brewed a large pot of coffee and toyed with the idea of lacing it with rum.
Conquered that temptation and instead settled for a large scoop of Vanilla Haagen Dazs ice cream with my coffee.

My Plan Of Action On How to Quit is this:
1. I must first identify that I can't stop ingesting this.
2. I must know that it is not healthy.
3. I must really want to live healthily.
4. Make wanting a healthy lifestyle my new addiction.
5. Reduce my desire for it by avoiding its purchase.
If I need to remove coffee from my morning routine I should do that too. but let's not get too drastic.
Any change done traumatically is a set up for failure.
6. Use my mind to control what I think my body wants and needs. Yes, will employ self brainwashing skills.
7. Substitute this very unhealthy processed creamer for something else. Or go black.

I am told once you go black you can never go back.

Happy Friday.
