In elementary school we were required to list down our NWL after each and every book we read.
NWL meaning: New Words Learned.
We were then to look up its meaning and then use it in a sentence.
I think this is how the affair began.
Some words excite me.
Some words annoy me.
And there are those words that intimidate me.
Gingerly, I practice those words when I am alone--and sort of like trying on a skimpy bikini that I know I would never wear in public--I never dare use it in conversation.
The words sit in me waiting for the opportunity to pass through my lips or the stroke of a pen (or the tapping of a keyboard).
Right now, words are escaping me.

I liked everything about this post and was hoping to write something like ee cummings might in response to your love of words but then I got terribly distracted by the picture.
How does one use two umbrellas? Is one for posing and the other for rain? My imagination has failed to provide an explanation.
