The first time I heard this song was when E.R.'s Dr. Mark Greene died in 2002. I love this version.
It is by Israel "Bruddah Iz" Kamakawiwoʻole. IZ was a musician who lived in Hawaii until his death ten years ago.
Kamakawiwoʻole was also nicknamed "The Gentle Giant". He was described as always cheerful and positive, and he was best known for his love of the land and the people of Hawaii.
