Christos Voskrese! Voistinu Voskrese!

I ended up at church at 8:30 AM this morning.
G came home late last night due to a school trip to an amusement park.
So I took her to school a bit late today but arrived right in time for the daily mass.

The priest--a really cute old man made it a point to teach us a foreign phrase at the end of mass.
His homily today was so simple:

Love everyone.
Don't pick and choose.
He said his experience at the Madonna House in Michigan, (a house of prayer open to anyone and everyone) was that all are welcome.
You could be a senator, a prostitute, a drug addict--it didn't matter.
Nobody asked questions.
You are just welcome.

And those were his instructions to the nine people in attendance at the mass before we parted.
That and the Slovic phrase that means,
"Christ is risen! Indeed he has risen" (or something to that effect.

And now I am about to watch G's variety show at school.
I will post her video here later on.

Be well.
