7th Grade Basketball Team and Kanye West

I am still in low batt mode from the Thanksgiving Weekend.
I would have finished recharging except the Kanye West concert that I found myself in (against my will) has set me back a few days.
The happenstance that brought a bunch of 7th grade Catholic girls and an international  rap star together had the media wondering and this is why I was asked to speak to Scott Mervis, the writer from the Post Gazette that covers the pop music scene around here.
His post here.

Scott left out the part where I ranted (yes, rant would be apropos) about how quickly these girls, my daughter included, forget Kanye's knack for ranting every time things do not go his way.
I am all about expanding my musical palette and being open to new experiences but I realize that one dimension of myself that remains unchanged is my low tolerance for people that seem to go out of their way to make others uncomfortable.
I don't like it.
And you know what I did about it?
I chaperoned  a gaggle of girls to the Kanye West concert.
I am principled like that. Or afraid of 7th grade girls.
