Mrs. Wilson was Kika's first teacher when she was 5.
Kika remembers her quite well and will talk about her occasionally.
A few weeks ago, after Kika mentioned Mrs. Wilson-- on a whim, I encouraged her to call and update Mrs. Wilson on her life as a third grader.
We looked up her phone number.
Unfortunately Mrs. Wilson was not home--but Kika left a message to say hello.

Last week, we got a call from her.
She told us that she was away and had just heard the message.
She said: "I am extremely touched to be remembered, you have no idea"
I said: "you know Mrs. Wilson, this is such a coincidence, but just yesterday I got an email from a boy I taught when he was 5."

Hello teacher Chesca! I'll never be able to call you anything else... even though I'm now 20 years old and an army officer!

Can't believe I found you! How are you these days? Kara, Noah, and I are all in contact through Facebook, maybe find us there?
And maybe someday have a class reunion? :)

Take care

I think I have some idea.
