Unsolicited Advice

To B,
You are funny.
Usually, funny gets chicks.
So what, I ask, is the problem?
This letter is the problem.
Funny as it is...it reeks of
'woe is me'
'nobody loves me'
'I'm all alone'
We are what we think about.
meaning: the more you dwell on what you don't have, the more you will not have.
focus on what you are thankful for.
(the mere fact that you've had opportunities to love in the past despite the break ups is not necessarily a bad thing but a sign that you are indeed desirable)
Focus on what you want and be positive...not just in love but in all areas of your life.
You'll see. Affirmative thoughts will pay off.
Now, having said all that--if you were just kidding and are in fact happily married with 6 children--please disregard.

I wrote this to a guy, who's blog I happened upon.
Sometimes I find myself just hammering away into cyberspace.
Why? Because as I write or say such things--
I am in fact brainwashing myself.

This was his response:

@chesca: You. Freakin'. Rule.

I'm not as bothered being single as I sound in this letter.
Valentine's Day just magnifies my inner emo to the Nth degree.
Hence, this ridiculously bitter letter to a mythical creature.

Thanks for the insight and the advice. Made my day

Now that was worth the exercise, my two pointer fingers said.
